How do I RSVP?

Please follow this link to RSVP. The link is also found on the welcome page, travel and hotel info, and will be sent via text! We only need one response per group. You will get an email confirmation after completing the form. Thanks!

Do I need a passport?

Yes, a passport is required to travel to Mexico. You must have the passport booklet and not the card. Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months after you return home. If you need to apply for a passport or renew your passport we would recommend doing so as soon as possible. It is taking 9-12 Weeks for passports to come in right now.

Do I have to book through your travel agent?

We recommend booking through our travel agent, as it is the only way to book at our discounted block rate. However, you can book any way you like. Just note that you will need to secure your own transportation to and from the airport. We request that if you do not book through our travel agent that you let us know. Our numbers of those staying/not staying at the resort must match Hilton’s records!

When is the last day to book?

March 15, 2023, is the last date to reserve a room with the block rate. You must put a $100 completely refundable deposit down to reserve a room. You have until 75 days before travel (June 22nd) to cancel if necessary. The hotel only allows us to reserve a limited number of rooms at a time, so please put your deposit down as soon as possible.

When will the final payment for my room be due?

All reservations are to be paid in full by June 22nd, 2023. Guests who make their reservation early will have the ability to make payments over time. Any remaining room balances will be auto-processed on the final due date.

Can I stay at another resort?

We are really looking forward to spending the weekend with all of our guests. If for some reason you need to stay elsewhere, please let us know as soon as possible, as guest passes into the resort are limited to a small number each day and there is an additional, hefty fee you must pay to get onto the hotel property.

How long will the bride and groom be there?

The bride and groom will arrive on Thursday, August 31, 2023 and stay through Thursday, September 7th.

How long should I stay?

There is a 3 night minimum, but our block rates will still be available if you want to extend your stay.

Can I bring my kids?

If you plan to bring your kids, they are welcome at all of the weekend events at the resort. Please let us know if you’re planning to bring your kids, so we can have an accurate head count.

There is a kid-friendly splash pool that includes a water playground with slides and a variety of beach games and pool toys. There is a kids club for ages 4-12 and a teens zone for ages 13-17. Each offers daily activities.

What if I can’t make it to the wedding?

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

How do I get to and from the airport?

If your room is booked through our travel agent, hotel transfers are $35 per person round trip non-stop and will be added to your total cost. If you do not book through our travel agent, you will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the airport.

Can I drink the water?

We recommend not to drink faucet/tap water, but the resort will provide filtered and bottled water at all times. Water and ice cubes served at all resort venues are always filtered and safe to drink.

What should I wear to the wedding?

The attire for the wedding is cocktail. Please keep in mind, the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside on the lobby terrace overlooking the beach but not in sand. The reception will be inside in a ballroom.

Do you have a gift registry?

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense spent traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate, and we are so happy to be able to spend this important day with you. Because of this, we really would prefer your presence instead of a gift. For those who still would like to give us a gift, we have included a registry.

What about flights?

Fly into CUN- Cancun international airport. There are several options for airlines that fly into Cancun. Southwest and Spirit typically have direct flights to Cancun on Saturdays; however, their flights are not up. Southwest will release flights for September on Thursday, February 9th. There appears to be a direct flight from New Orleans to Cancun through Southwest on Saturdays ONLY.

Pro tip: if you book Southwest and the price drops to lower than you paid, you can get a refund or travel voucher for the difference in the price see here:

Will I need money at the resort?

Hilton Cancun is an all inclusive resort meaning all of your food and drinks are covered (with the exception of some off-plan upgrades). We recommend bringing small bills ($1) to tip bartenders and servers if you are experiencing good service. Tipping is not mandatory; however, we have found if we tip, we tend to receive drinks and slightly faster service with smiles. Tipping at an all-inclusive resort is not at all like tipping in America- no need to ensure you are giving 20%. Often tip a few dollars here and there. Make sure you call your bank before you leave and let them know you will be in Mexico in case you need to purchase anything with credit/debit cards.

Do the restaurants at the resort have a dress code?

There are 5 that are casual. There is 1 restaurant that is smart casual.

Beach Attire: Swimsuit attire is welcome.

Casual, or Resort Casual: Access with dry bathing suits permitted. Men require a t-shirt and women require a cover-up. Sandals are required.

Smart Casual: Dress shorts, close-toed shoes, collared short-sleeve shirts are required for men. Women require dress sandals.

Is there room service?

There is 24 hour room service.

The menus are found here: Menu

You will be able to use your phone, but there may be international charges and roaming fees, depending on your plan. WiFi is available throughout the resort property.

Does the hotel have smart TVs?

Hilton does not have smart TVs, but it does have cable with English channels. If you want to watch Netflix, you should bring a Roku/ firestick/ AppleTV/ etc. to stream.
